I’m a strategic and creative problem solver with over 20 years’ experience in the design and marketing industry. Passionate about my craft and effectiveness, with a little OCD thrown in, I deliver praiseworthy creative on every brief. I’m a people person and a team leader. I find nothing more rewarding than being part of a creative environment to produce something that everyone can be proud of.

A digital-age direct marketing agency, Twenty uses analysis to drive strategy and creative to drive behaviour change and brand engagement. Clients included BMW/Mini, Energy Online, AA Insurance, AA Life, Asteron, Heart Foundation, Pet Doctors, Placemakers, Metro Glass, Volkswagen and Southern Cross Health.
My biggest achievement: concept development and production of 'Cheaper energy has landed', which launched UFOs over Auckland’s skyline.

Hallelujah provided creative services to agencies and direct to clients. Clients included Flybuys, New World, Mitre 10, Plunket, Retinae Productions and Eleven.
I worked with the Eleven agency for nearly a year, both freelancing and full time. Eleven has a strong strategic through-the-line offering for clients in the rural sector. Their clients included: Ballance, MSD, Co-operative Bank and The Rural Bank.
My biggest achievement during this period was the idea development and production of Plunket's national 'Bear Hug' appeal which continues today, and Ballance's Fieldays tent where 10,000 pies were eaten in four days.

Part of the DDB Group, RAPP Tribal is an integrated agency connecting customers to brands online and off. Clients included ANZ, The National Bank, CIGNA Life Insurance, Flybuys, Telecom, Volkswagen, Salvation Army, CCS Disability and Land Information.
Highlights during my five years: setting up RAPP’s first New Zealand creative department, and winning ANZ National Bank and Telecom businesses.

This was a very exciting period – I learnt the direct marketing craft at a time when the client’s budget didn't seem to be an issue and everyone was starting to embrace digital media.

This was the UK’s second-largest direct mail agency and the centre for Tequila's Worldwide Network. I worked across many of their blue chip clients including Marlboro, Sky Television, Open (interactive TV), Nissan UK, Chrysler Jeep, Lufthansa, Pall Mall Croatia and Holsten Pilsener.
Marlboro was the most exciting of them all. Historically conjuring up images of cowboys, it become something of a fashion icon in the UK.

Working as a designer in London, I contracted to The Team, where I got to work with Neville Brody on a Macromedia conference. Other clients included Sony, Apple Records, Nortel Telecommunications, Pages, Ski Netica, Smith Watkins Musical Instruments and The Stationery Office.

I helped set up an in-house studio to produce all of their graphic design and advertising. Other clients included Destination Queenstown, The Helicopter Line, Mt Cook Line Ski Fields, plus many small adventure tourism operators.

I worked in corporate design for Telecom NZ, National Mutual Finance and Government departments. I was involved from concept to producing final artwork for corporate identities, annual reports, promotional material and packaging.

Working as a graphic designer, I gained experience in the print and production process. Clients included Colenso, Saatchi & Saatchi, Lotto and ANZ Bank.

This was an intense, hands-on, degree-equivalent course that covered all aspects of design, including design history, typography, photography, illustration and advertising. The curriculum led us to our thesis, a six month project to promote the New Zealand ski industry with a common pass system.
